What is a "FOK"?
"F.O.K." stands for Friends of Keith [Olbermann].
So what is FOK Society?
A unique, political social network where people can socialize with member to member IMing or set up a chat room for group discussions. They can create a unique profiles, share music, photos, videos and create events. Members can also write unique blogs and see them published to the "FOK Magazine". A wide range of progressive news sources are listed all in one place for member convenience with a strong support of Current TV's Keith Olbermann and many other progressive opinion sources! FOK Society is mostly focused on a progressive agenda and politics but any and all subject matter is welcome! Membership is free and all voices are welcome!
Check out some of the things that FOKers can to look forward to in the near future...
♦ The "FOK Media" tab will be coming back with all the progressive sources that FOKers have come to expect and appreciate, along with many new and exciting voices!
♦ "Hypocrisy, Inc." Podcasts hosted by the site creator, Liz Tyler, will focus on the quantum hypocrisy of our political discourse today.
♦ The "Pretzel Awards", a fun new game where members can submit and vote on the pundits/politicians that twist themselves to make their cases.
♦ "Debate It Live" is going to be featured here at FOK Society, where real people debate any and all issues live!

Anger mismanagement
Via selfhelptipsblog.org I’m having one of those days. I had no Internets access for hours, when I was finally able to post my first one of the day, The Political Carnival crashed, plus there are about a zillion personal issues going on (we all have those), and I’m hours behind because of the first two setbacks. Hence, I am experiencing severe crankitude and would love to scream at someone, preferably the nearest Republican. However, I won’t. And you know why I won’t? Because, call me crazy, but I’m a firm believer in civility. Even during heated arguments. Even with right wing nut jobs. Which brings me to Twitter, the Keith Olbermann v. Current TV legal battle, and cyberbullying in general.
